This policy explains how we process the personal data you give us through the Website, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on personal data protection and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD) and the LSSI-CE.

2. What data we process and where it comes from
- Contact form: first name, surname, email address, phone number, case file number (optional, only if you are an affected person) and the content of your message.
- Email, phone or WhatsApp: the data you send us through these channels.
- Browsing data: if you accept analytics cookies, statistical information about your use of the Website (see the Cookie policy).
You provide the data directly. Please send us only the data needed to deal with your enquiry.

4. Retention period
We keep data for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Enquiries are kept while they are being handled and, afterwards, blocked for the limitation periods of possible liabilities. Informational messages are kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent. Once those periods have passed, the data is deleted.
5. Recipients and international transfers
We do not disclose your data to third parties unless we are legally required to. Service providers who help us run the Website (web hosting and email) may access it as data processors under contract.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google (Google Analytics) receives data about your use of the Website. If you play a video, YouTube (Google) receives technical data about your connection. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, as well as the right not to be subject to automated decisions. To do so, email us at info@asociacionacaba.org with the subject “Data protection rights”, stating the right you wish to exercise and attaching a copy of your ID card or another identity document.
If you believe we have not handled your rights properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data and to ensure its confidentiality, integrity and availability.
8. Minors
The Website is not aimed at children under 14. If you are under 14, please do not give us personal data without the consent of your parents or guardians.
9. Accuracy of data
You guarantee that the data you give us is accurate and up to date. If you give us third-party data, you declare that you are entitled to do so.
10. Changes
We may update this policy to adapt it to legal changes or to the evolution of the Website. The current version is always the one published on this page.
